MAISON MOTEMA is pleased to announce its membership in the Accessories Council, one of the leading trade organizations representing the fashion accessories industry in the United States.
Founded in New York in 1994, the Accessories Council brings together brands, designers, retailers and industry leaders across handbags, jewelry, footwear, eyewear and accessories, with a focus on strengthening businesses through industry connections, education, advocacy and visibility.
For MAISON MOTEMA, joining the Council marks another step in the Maison’s continued development in the United States.
Built between New York · Dakar · Paris, MAISON MOTEMA is an international leather-goods house grounded in craftsmanship, considered design and the intelligence of the hand. Each piece is handmade in our Dakar atelier, where our artisans work with carefully selected leathers and the Maison’s signature sculptural bronze elements.
For Founder and Creative Director Verlaine-Diane Soobroydoo, the membership reflects the Maison’s next stage of growth:
